Whenever on a train, I make sure to grab a window seat and always have the camera ready. I’m also always ready to capture that next ballpark shot.
Heading towards Chicago’s Union Station, I was able to capture this shot of U.S. Cellular Field on the South Side. It’s the home to Major League Baseball’s Chicago White Sox. Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, there is just something about being around and in a stadium in the Midwest. ๐
I’m a White Sox fan, so obviously this post is up my alley!! ๐ “The Cell” may not be a historic ballpark, but it’s beautiful, the food there is great as far as ballpark food goes, and the team won the World Series as recently as 2005, which is saying a lot when it comes to Chicago baseball. Cool shot, Aaron.
Thanks! Was very happy to see and capture this up close. ๐ Doesn’t seem like that along ago since they won. Postseason baseball and another chance at glory could be coming their way this season.
I am not a Cubs fan, but you can also get a great shot of Wrigley by taking the Red line north to the Addison stop.
Thanks Ted for the tip! Will have to check that spot out. I haven’t taken a side, but enjoyed the White Sox’s run in 2005. ๐
