A New Year = 100 Coffeehouses.

After looking back at my 2012 travels and coffee, coffee and more coffee of the past year. I started thinking. Could I visit 100 unique, non-chain coffeehouses in the coming year? What do you think?! Haha. 🙂

The goal is to work, hang out and consume caffeine in at least 33 non-chain coffeehouses in Michigan, 33 in Georgia and 34 others in my travels. I will work on it one latte and cup of java at a time.

Where in Michigan and in the Midwest and Georgia and in the South do you recommend grabbing a cup of java? What other coffeehouses/cafés in your travels would you recommend?

I wish everyone a safe and Happy New Years and start to 2013! To caffeine out on the open road. Cheers! Aaron 🙂

  1. Brilliant idea, Aaron! I can recommend some in NZ or here in London 🙂 Never been to Michigan and Georgia, and Midwest trip was 10 years ago so… hmmm. Come to London and we can get you closer to that goal!

    • Thanks Christina! That’s great, you’ll have to let me know about the NZ ones. Saw a couple in your Christchurch post. The ones I visited right before the quake are no longer there. 😦 London could happen down the road. Would love to checkout the coffee scene there. 🙂 If your ever back in the Midwestern or in the southern US let me know. Can give you lot’s of travel ideas.

  2. GREAT idea!! 😀 The hash tag is just too cool! I’ll definitely follow it. In Chicago, you might try Metropolis Coffee in Edgewater.

    • Thanks Pola! 🙂 Thanks for the Chicago suggestion. JM is on the list too. Will be sure to give you a shoutout if coming that way for coffeeshop hopping or crawling.

  3. Oh Aaron you sure are a coffee lover!

Creating a special hashtag #ElCafeDe2013 is the coolest thing and be sure I will be on the lookout for it!

I will find the best coffee houses in Montreal & Toronto and share with you later. So you know where to get your daily dose when you come to my country.

Have a great year amigo and stay #caffeinatedin2013 ha ha

    K 😉

    • Thanks Karla for your support! Look forward to getting your coffee suggestions. Some Toronto coffee drinking in June! Working on the caffeine thing as we speak lol. 🙂
