At Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood in the rain?

Was tooling around Los Angeles and Hollywood on a winter day and decided to hit up Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. What’s wrong with this picture? Umbrellas? I didn’t think it ever rained in Southern California.

Checked out the theater as well as all the handprints, footprints and signatures in front and…

Have you ever run into weather conditions, that were odd for the area, in your travels?

  1. I have only been to San Francisco once. My whole life I had heard of my Dad saying how cold it is there. There is also the famous line “the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” I was there for two days and it was 98 degrees each day.

    • I know it was around freezing there recently which is odd too. 98 wow. The whole area with the ocean, desert, mountains and terrain sets itself up for drastic temperature swings. 🙂
