You’re at the coffeehouse in the early morning hours, before it’s even light outside like I was a few months back at Wealthy Street Bakery in Grand Rapids, Michigan and your wondering why.
It was on recommendation to check out this Heritage Hill neighborhood gem first because of the coffee. I went the specialty coffee drink route on this day and the Cafรฉ Vienna.
Also my friend said, you gotta try the pastries which leads to my next tip. If the opportunity presents itself…
#Tip 4 …a pastry should come along for the ride.
It did on this morning with a ham & cheese croissant. A tasty compliment, it helped wash down the caffeine deliciousness. ๐
The danishes, scones, rolls and other breakfast pastries all looked good as well. Wealthy Street Bakery also provided a relaxing atmosphere to get some work done. ๐
No matter how early in the day it is, nothing beats a great coffee drink with something just as good to wash it down with.
What kinds of pastries do you like to have with your coffee?
I generally skip pastries; coffee for me is usually after-dinner dessert ๐
But you present a good case for stopping by this bakery next time I’m in GR.
Will do coffee sometimes after dinner, usually with dessert along side haha. ๐ Let me know if you make it there. Cool seeing people come and go in the neighborhood!
Nice. I wrote about this bakery recently. Glad you got a chance to visit it!

Thanks, it’s a great place and stop in GR. Can’t go wrong with any coffee selection and just had their cinnamon rolls for the first time recently yum. Will check out your post! ๐
