Photo of the Week: A Vegas Layover Leads to a Skyline.

A short layover recently at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada turned into an all day stay due to mechanical issues. I took advantage by walking to another terminal and grabbing this shot of the Las Vegas skyline and strip. The delay definitely wasn’t all bad. πŸ™‚

  1. It is better to take a photograph than to lose all your money in the airport slots.

    • Yes indeed! Was on the lookout for cool outside shots everywhere while wandering. Did put sone change in unsuccessfully though haha.

  2. Nice! Love that you can see the mountains in the background of the skyline

  3. I did my first Vegas trip this year and was amazed at how close the airport was to the Strip and how much you can see!

    • I wonder if people just walk to The Strip? It is pretty neat to see the heart of a city so close. I’m always looking for cool outside shots when walking around an airport. The Phoenix skyline is pretty close from their airport too.
