Photo(s) of the Week: Getting a Taste of Notre Dame.

On a rainy, late Autumn day I got my first taste of the prestigious University of Notre Dame in Indiana. I saw among other things the The (Golden) Dome and Basilica, Word of Life Mural and Notre Dame Stadium. A return visit to explore more in-depth is definitely in order. 🙂

  1. I had never seen pix of these buildings at Notre Dame.

    • I had never seen them other than when watching Notre Dame football games. Great to see up close! A beautiful campus. Lots of history and cool architecture.

  2. I had a friend who went to college at Notre Dame. I visited him twice and had a great time both times I went. This post brings back good memories, especially the one where Tennessee beat then #1 in one of the most thrilling games I have ever seen when they were loaded with Jerome Bettis and Rick Mirer.

    • A nice campus, can’t imagine the football atmosphere. 🙂 I remember watching that game. We always watched Notre Dame and Michigan games growing up.
