The Blue Shoes and I Finding Solitude Out on the Open Road.

When out on the open road the blue shoes and I make sure to soak in all the scenery. While staring at all the beauty this world has to offer, lots of solitude has been enjoyed in summer and winter, in big cities and small-towns, inside a coffee shop and outside in nature and in the desert, on the lake and more. Who knows where and when that next minute of alone time to reflect will occur when traveling?

The inspiration for this post is #FriFotos on Twitter whose theme this week is “Solitude”.

  1. wow those shoes really have been a lot of places… good thinking re photography. I recently blogged about the wilderness and solitude in Angel Falls.. check it out

  2. That is Michigan blue isn’t it?

    • I like being around water no matter where I am I at, so that’s probably why I like the blue color. Michigan blue hmmm haha. In these parts I cheer for the green and white (Spartans). 🙂

  3. Love this idea for a photo series— and admiring all the different places in Michigan 🙂

  4. Holy cr*p! How did you find Rowsters?! It is THE BEST coffee. That slow drip process is maddening but worth it. It seems you’ve also been in my immediate neighborhood there in Muskegon.

    • Haven seen there beans elsewhere and visit a lot of coffee shops so heard from word of mouth that should check them out. Never a bad coffee or experience there. The wait well worth it for a great coffee.

Like Drip Drop Drink Coffee Bar on Western in Muskegon. Have had a good pour over there. Have you been?
