Being “Out on the Open Road” can be a challenge in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the Midwest during the winter months. Road conditions and the resulting slow times in the car can get on my nerves like many at times. It is was worth it though when I’m able to see the beautiful snow scenes that this time of year produces. This was especially true on some recent drives on and around Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor. Well without further ado.

Gotta love our crazy Michigan winters! ๐
Yes indeed! They do provide plenty of beauty. ๐
Great photos of the snow. Love the framing with the railings on the bridge.
Thank you Steven! The snow being heavy made for a lot more fun photo opportunities, I like finding ways to peak through things like rails and fences to capture different perspectives. ๐
You live in one of the most beautiful states! That being said, I don’t miss midwestern winters and prefer road trippin’ in spring or summer. ๐
Pure Michigan is breathtaking no matter the time of year. Hard to disagree though, I am excited for roadtripping in the warmer months ahead. ๐
