About elATLboy

Here I am, Aaron, the elATLboy or “The Hispanic Atlanta Boy”. It came to me one night when I was sleeping a long time ago and it just stuck. I fell in love with travel and road trips at a young age, always having maps and an atlas in hand on one family trip after another.

Welcome to The Adventures of elATLboy where I’ll playfully talk about my past, current and future travels from Michigan, Atlanta, New Zealand and beyond. Mornings, evenings, weekends, vacation days, doing the day job remotely, I find the time to enjoy what I am truly passionate about, traveling. My love of the ATL (of course), road trips, city skylines, COFFEE and shorelines will be featured. My fascination with geography, culture, the weather and food will all have their place as well.

Did I mention coffee?! I visited 100 non-chain coffeehouses around home and in my travels in 2013 and have been keeping up with that pace ever since.

My goal is to have this blog serve as a travel guide, helping people find cool places to visit. Look forward to seeing everyone caffeinated “Out on the open road”.

  20. Now, this is interesting that you actually spent some time touring our City of Atlanta and I notice you even went fro a ride down the Chattahoochee river, something I haven’t done for decades. Our paths must have crossed at the Coca Cola center, around the holidays, because that when I drove down to the aquarium. Just wondering if you saw Stone Mountain park; and if not, check my site for the postings I make when I walk there.http://marygilmartin.wordpress.com/2012/12/29/the-world-of-coca-cola-atlanta-georgia/ and the aquarium:http://marygilmartin.wordpress.com/2012/12/05/aquariums-georgia-aquarium-in-atlanta/

    • The ATL is my favorite city. 🙂 Can’t roam around the city enough. I have been to Stone Mountain park, but it was many years ago. Will check out your Coca Cola, Aquarium and posts, two favorite spots.
