In recent times it’s been another day, another marina. I’m definitely not complaining. π On a recent early morning I made a stop at Leamington Municipal Marina in southwestern Ontario. The public marina is just south of downtown Leamington along Lake Erie. Some photos from my time there.
The cloud types on this morning made for some great shots.
Went for an early morning jog as there was amble walkways available.
Off in the distance is the ferry that will take you over to Pelee Island, a beautiful retreat in Lake Erie. You’ll see the cars lining up waiting to be transported along with the people.
A closer shot…
Colorful, well-kept hanging baskets and other flowers. Plants and freshly cut green grass dot the marina and surrounding area. In general, I saw lots of workers out-and-about, everything was clean and well maintained.
Sit on one of the many benches and checkout the marina, boats and Lake Erie all in front of you. A romantic setting to be sure.
Just off to the left of the marina you get can some unobstructed views of Lake Erie. Hi Ohio and the United States! I know your out there somewhere.
It was a great morning checking and hanging out at Leamington Municipal Marina. One of the more scenic, welcoming marinas I’ve ever visited. It’s a place I recommend adding to your Lake Erie to-do list. What other hot spots would you recommend checking out along Lake Erie in Canada or the United States?
