Photo of the Week: A Beachside Park Bench in Chi-town.

It’s summer. Your along the lake shore. You’re at the beach. You see a park bench overlooking both. You’re in a big city. You might be at this romantic park bench spot at Oak Street Beach along Lake Michigan in Chicago. A beautiful, relaxing place.

Photo of the Week: A Romantic Park Bench Chi-town Style!

During a walk from Oak Street Beach and the lake shore to Grant Park in Chicago recently I came across Lake Shore Park on E. Chicago Avenue. I gravitated to the park bench in front of me to soak in a little of Chi-town. The park, a baseball diamond and a staple of the skyline, John Hancock Center, all straight ahead!

Photo of the Week: A Romantic Park Bench SF Style.

Your on a park bench. Your up-top a hill and cliff. You’re in San Francisco. You’re in California. Your sitting where San Francisco Bay flows into the Pacific Ocean. It’s nearing sunset. The Golden Gate Bridge is within view. It doesn’t get much better and romantic then this spot at Land’s End, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Photo of the Week: Romantic Park Bench Settings Everywhere.

Recently I’ve taken a liking to capturing park benches in romantic settings. A lot of the shots have been in parks, around water and/or in tropical locales. On a winter weekend day I found a setting that included salt, snow, and cold in small-town Ohio, yet still found intriguing.

This shot is along Main Street at an intersection in downtown Findlay. Watching business owners shoveling snow, people walking trying to keep warm and lots of vehicles just trying to get from A-to-B safely, I found the whole small-town winter setting romantic. In reality you never know where and under what circumstances you’ll find that romantic park bench spot. The whiteness of winter, beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚
