While in Skagway, Alaska you’ll notice lots of signage that includes Whitehorse. Whitehorse is the capital and largest town in the Yukon in Canada. It’s a relatively short drive north. Twenty miles to customs!
In fact you’ll see travel signage pointing you to several Yukon destinations.
A Canadian road trip to the far north anyone?
Hanging out on Chicago’s famed Navy Pier I came across this travel signage while looking south along the shoreline. Where to go next? Mexico City? Buenos Aires? Frankfurt? Toronto (yes, yes for TBEX!)? Oh my the possibilities. The plane up-top the sign has other ideas though. It’s leading me to believe I should head to the sun. That might be a little to warm and tropical haha. The sun had a unique look to it all day, trying to get through the clouds. 🙂
On a trip to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland in Frankemuth, Michigan I came across this holiday tree themed signage that lists places near and far and their distance from the “World’s Largest Christmas Store”.
From local restaurants, parks and the Bronner’s west parking lot to Manila, Tokyo and the Golden Gate Bridge, I thought to myself “So Many Travel Choices, So Little Time.”
